بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم
Assalamu Alaikum Everyone!
How are you doing? I hope you are having an amazing day wherever you are in the world! May Allah bless and shower you and all those you love with happiness and health.
I am sure you have heard about the disrespect and insults that occurred at the expense of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad ﷺ, in the past period. When I first heard of this news, I was heartbroken and very upset to hear that we would live to see the day of when the Prophet ﷺ would be insulted. I was not the only Muslim who was extremely angry of this incident, but it seemed like the whole Muslim world was impacted by these actions. I felt like I had a role as someone with a small platform, to speak on this issue and educate people on the topic. Unfortunately, I did not know what to say or how to express my anger in an effective manner. I am sure that a lot of you felt the same way. We felt extremely hurt and angry by the disrespect, but we did not know what to do, or how to express it in a way that best suits Prophet Mohammad ﷺ.
It is also important to note that Anas ibn Malik reported, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'None of you have faith until I am more beloved to him than his children, his father, and all of the people'.”
I knew that allowing my emotions to control my words and actions would not be effective. In order to educate people effectively, we have to speak with logic and knowledge. That is why, I thought it would be a good idea, to cover this topic with you guys. In this way, we can come up with ideas together, that will help us learn about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, to love him more, and at the same time, support him in the best ways possible, InshAllah.
How can we support the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?
1. Boycott All French-Made Products
The easiest and one of the most important things we can do to support Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, is to boycott all French products. I am sure you have read and heard about the boycotting that has been going in this past period. Some people may think that boycotting does not have a big impact, or they may believe it is actually not that beneficial. However, I would like to discuss with you two things to keep in mind.
One, we are responsible for the actions not the ending. This means that when we participate in boycotting, we are responsible for our actions, and in doing our part to support the Prophet ﷺ.
Two, to those who say that boycotting does not have an impact, if boycotting does not work, then why would have Western nations previously boycotted France for other reasons. Let me give you some examples. Britain, who is now siding with France, boycotted French products twice before. The first time was in the year 1995, when France was undertaking nuclear weapon tests. These testings were from the years 1966 and 1996, and took place at Moruroa and Fangataufa. As a result of French testing, international protests broke out, notably in 1974 and 1995. Britain wanted France to stop these testings, so it decided to boycott French products, in order to pressure France to stop these testings. The second time was in the year 1999, when France banned the importing of British cow meat, because of the increase of the "Mad-Cow" crisis. As a result, Britain responded by boycotting French products. There are so many other examples that you can take a look at by doing a simple search. The point is, boycotting is a very effective tool that has a big impact.

2. Learn More About the Messenger of Allah ﷺ
The next step is to learn more about our Prophet ﷺ, because when we learn more about him, we will be able to love him more, and thus increase our faith, InshAllah. However, how can we do this?
We can simply do this by reading about the Prophet ﷺ and how he lived his life. We can also read about how he interacted with others, both Muslims and Non-Muslims. I have listed below books that you can read that will help you learn about our Prophet ﷺ.
Best Sirah Books:
If you are someone who is not a big fan of reading, then you can watch documentaries and videos on the Prophet ﷺ. There are so many series on YouTube that you can watch for absolutely free. Some notable ones are by Mufti Menk and Yasir Qadhi. Please take the time of day to listen to these and learn more about our Prophet ﷺ, and in that way we can do our part in helping to support him.
3. Understand The Intercession of The Prophet ﷺ on The Day of Judgment
The third point is to understand the important and value of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. When we read about the things that will happen on The Day of Resurrection (or The Day of Judgement), during when all the people will be gathered with the sun right on top, as it continues to get closer. The people will be exhausted and tired, and they want the final assessment to begin.
The Prophet ﷺ has informed us by way of Anas, "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'The believers will be kept (waiting) on The Day of Resurrection so long that they will become worried and say, 'Let us ask somebody to intercede for us with our Lord so that He may relieve us from our place'."
Then, they will go to Adam and say, ‘You are Adam, the father of the people. Allah created you with His Own Hand and made you reside in His Paradise and ordered His angels to prostrate before you, and taught you the names of all things will you intercede for us with your Lord so that He may relieve us from this place of ours?' Adam will say, ‘I am not fit for this undertaking.’ He will add, ‘Go to Noah, the first prophet sent by Allah to the people of the Earth.’
The people will go to Noah who will say, ‘I am not fit for this undertaking’ He will say (to them), ‘Go to Abraham, Khalil ar-Rahman.’ They will go to Abraham who will say, ‘I am not fit for this undertaking. He will say, ‘Go to Moses, a slave whom Allah gave the Torah and spoke to directly and brought near Him, for conversation.’
They will go to Moses who will say, ‘I am not fit for this undertaking. Go to Jesus, Allah’s slave and His messenger, and a soul created by Him and His Word “Be: And it is”.' They will go to Jesus who will say, ‘I am not fit for this undertaking but you’d better go to Muhammad the slave whose past and future sins have been forgiven by Allah.’ So they will come to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and he will ask the Lord’s permission to enter His presence and then he will be permitted.
Then Prophet Muhammad ﷺ will intercede and He will put a limit for him (to intercede for a certain type of people).
4. Follow in The Footsteps of Prophet Mohammad ﷺ
The next point is to follow into the footsteps of Prophet Mohammad ﷺ. We can do this by working on perfecting our obligatory duties as Muslims, as well as increasing the amount of Sunnahs that we do. Now, I will let you know some of the daily Sunnah's that the Prophet ﷺ would never go through his day without doing, even if he was travelling.
Unfortunately, this is the end of our blog post today. I wish we can spend all our day talking about our Prophet ﷺ, our Deen and Allah (SWT). I definitely want to do these posts more often, and I really hope you enjoyed reading today's blog post. I pray to Allah to help us strengthen our Iman, and to make us from those who support the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I pray to Allah that you all found this post informative and learned something. I hope you are able to apply these habits into your own lives, InshAllah. Jazakum Allah Khair! ♡♡
